In the late afternoon of May 17th, 2007, a sucidal man with a gun isolated himself in his car after attracting the attention of the Portland Police. The city's Central Command Unit was set up, and officers with assault weapons entered a local church where they moved into a firing position in case anything went wrong. I spoke with a frustrated Pastor of the Church who was upset that he didn't have a say in the matter. Later I captured footage a new robot that the Police used to take the man a telephone.
